Clinical Links

GP Notebook

Quick, sharp and snappy.  Gives you clinical information right at your fingertips.  Easy enough to use even in the consulting room with a patient.  Requires username and password, but most people have a Univadis account and can log in through that route.

CKS - Clinical Knowledge Service  more evidence based than GP notebook and more detailed but less snappy .some good scenarios.Formed from Prodigy.

E-Guidelines

Provides updated evidence based guidelines with a Primary Care perspective.

BMJ Learning

Some great learning modules

Patient.co.uk Access some brilliant patient leaflets on diseases, investigations .  An essential too for the GP consultation-the site to direct patients to.

 Doctors.net

.  Has some excellent  e-learning modules and forum to ask questions on..

National Electronic Library for Health (NELH)

Login in with your Athens ID (which you can get free by calling your local hospital library team).  It gives access to NICE , CKS and even bandolier and DTB which would have to pay for otherwise.
