This practice in the centre of the town has been involved with training and education for many years.  There are approximately 16,000 patients and there is much experience to be gained by working here.  Entirely paperless, the practice has specific interests in women’s health, maternity, drug and alcohol addiction and minor surgery. Partners have specialised interests in musculo-skeletal medicine, clinical governance and medico-legal work.
In 2008 the practice started active collaboration with the Primary Care Research Network. The intention is to assist in five separate pieces of original research each year.  As a Registrar, if you have an interest in primary care research, you will be very welcome to get involved in this.
